The second season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, premiered on FX on June 29, 2006. The season contains 10 episodes and concluded airing on August 17, 2006.

Dennis and Dee's parents make their debut in the first episode of this season, with the father becoming a regular character and the mother appearing in a recurring role. First, their dad Frank blackmails his way into the group and moves in with Charlie. Then Mac bangs Dennis and Dee's mother. And then Dennis and Dee find out that Frank isn't really their father, and that their mother had an affair with a philanthropist named Bruce Mathis.
Meanwhile, the Gang up's their efforts in the scheming front when they try to get a neighbor to leave, try to extort welfare from the state. And when those fail, they try to rig a fight club, exploit a water stain of the Virgin Mary in their Paddy's office and later try to extort bribes when running for office. Finally, the Gang converts Paddy's into yet another highly successful specialty bar: an unregulated bar that caters to drug abusers and gamblers.

After seeing Charlie get attention from strippers over being in a wheelchair, the gang decides to fake disabilities in order to get sympathy from hot girls. | ||||||
